Tobi Bakare has been an ever-present on British television sets for the last decade. His seven-year run as everyone’s favourite police officer JP Hooper earned him widespread critical acclaim and led to roles alongside acting greats like Samuel L. Jackson (Kingsman: The Secret Service).

However, before he was patrolling the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie, he was a Hackney-boy with ambitions of becoming a footballer
